The three words that most come to my mind when I think of Patroon are hospitality, warmth, and grace. Patroon, and the staff that make Patroon all that it is, represent New York at its very best.

With so many steakhouses in New York City, it’s easy to overlook some of the historic stalwarts. I recently dined at Il Mulino Prime in SoHo and was thoroughly impressed by both the service and the outstanding food. Our porterhouse steak for two was perfectly cooked and flavorful, complemented by delicious vegetables, a well-balanced Caesar salad, and a fresh tuna starter. The wine list, though small, was thoughtfully curated, and the desserts were exceptional. Service was attentive without being intrusive, adding to the intimate experience of this 13-table gem. A solid evening at a spot that deserves more recognition.
