Best Restaurants for Business Meals in Fountain Valley

My husband, daughter and I had Christmas dinner at Mastro's. It was so crowded, I would have totally understood if the service or food was lacking... but to my surprise, everything was perfect! Service was amazing, food was just as wonderful as always. The restaurant was lively and festive. Once again, dining here was a great experience. Definitely pricey, but worth it for a special occasion!!

This was our first time eating here. I had been at this location when it used to be Scott's Seafood. It has been renovated and the food is much better to my liking. It's all about the seafood, although they have beef too. We ordered 3 entrees... Sable fish in a spicy broth with thin soba noodles. The fish was a large portion and thick too. Scampi with parpadelle pasta. Wow, the shrimp were large and the pasta is one on my favorites with the sauces soaking all the flavors into the pasta. Cioppino was my favorite. It had prawns, salmon, white fish, calamari, clams, mussels all in the most favorable warm broth. We brought a bottle of champagne with us and they don't charge a corkage fee. Wow, can't wait to return again. The service was spot on. Our server was attentive and personable. Yum!

Xmas Eve dinner was wonderful at Habana. We were greeted at the door with complimentary sparkling rose wine while we were checked in for our reservation. Our reservation was for comfortable outdoor seating with a festive ambiance for the season. The server was attentive and courteous offering recommendations and adjustments for some of our dietary restrictions. The seasonal cocktails were delicious and our food was too. Overall a great experience and we are planning to go back soon!

What a WONDERFUL way to celebrate Christmas Eve! As America returns to its' roots of valuing friends/family, it was SO nice to enjoy a GREAT Christmas Eve dinner at Black Angus/FV! EVERYONE there - including GM Mark, Mgr Samantha and Servers Mia and Kim - made our evening, memorable. Their team of chefs, cooks, food runners and everyone on the team made the food outstanding - including the Lobster tails and their new appetizer of Blue Cheese Mac & Cheese! Thank you, Black Angus! Merry Christmas and looking forward to seeing you guys in 2025!

The food was amazing and the ambiance was perfect for a date night, but what really stood out was the attentiveness and professionalism that came with our server Shannon. She is what really made a difference in our experience at this restaurant. She asked if this was our first time and then proceeded to take her time going through the whole menu (drinks menu as well) and knew it like she made it herself. I never felt rushed and always looked after. I don’t do reviews usually but after coming across her I felt like this was the least I could do. She deserves her credit for sure.
