Sunday Brunch 111:30 AM was superb! Excellent staff, Ash, needless to say food is always healthy and outstanding. It was a wonderful get together time with friends.

Had an absolutely great time with my gf and would recommend it to anyone. Was way more than we expected, the food was excellent and so was the service.

This was my first time at Mr A’s and giving full accolades. The service was as good as it gets. Rory is a veteran server with an extensive knowledge of wine, food and decorum. The whole staff did a wonder job as well. Liked the signature Old Fashion and the wine that Rory recommended. We had oysters, caviar and the lobster fritters to start. The baguette was warm and a great complement to the starters. The entrees were all loved. I had the rack of lamb that was perfectly cooked medium rare with an amazing white bean provencal. One of the best restaurants in San Diego. Our first 3 restaurants served warm, bland, mediocre food. Being a foodie from Chicago, I am particular about what I consume. Wonderful wait staff, piping hot meals, strong cocktails and generous portions defined our meal.

Simply put, one of the best meals I have had the privilege of enjoying! Delightful server, Calvin, was very in tune with the timing of our meal and our needs. The fixed menu was perfect for Christmas Eve, as it kept the meal flowing and decision-making to a minimum. Every course was delectable from the scallop crudo, the creamed mushrooms, and the sea bass, to the date cake with walnut ice cream! Mezcal hibiscus cocktail was creative and tasty, as well! I will definitely be back!
