Campisi's began in 1946 just after World War II by Carlo Campisi and today is run by David Campisi his grandson. I don't think of here often. The location was perfect. We had a party of 7 that was from 5 to 85-yo. I requested to be tucked away somewhere quiet. This was perfect! Everyone raved about their meals. My mother went on about how nostalgic it was to be there. Newly revealed lore is that I have been going there since before I was born. It is a rare old gem for Dallas that generally shuns what's old.
