The whole experience was enjoyable. It was nice to be in a restaurant that was not too busy at this time of year. The food was fresh and flavourful (particularly the Thai Green curry and Massaman). The salad was disappointing, mainly because, apart from the delicious dressing, it was a basic British Little Gem, cucumber and tomato salad. We will definitely be back!

Delicious food which took us right back to Spain! And a very enjoyable experience all round. We are locals and have watched the progress of this special little restaurant since it opened in June 2023. Gabriel has grown the menu over time and we have watched the crowds grow too! Saturday lunchtime is especially busy for brunch and it makes me happy hearing the Spanish language as I walk by. The service is great, and it is always a good sign when a restaurant makes food that the people of that country want to eat! There is relaxed outside dining in the summer months on pretty Foley Street where you can take your time eating and chatting and watching the world go by, and a cosy atmosphere inside, especially on a dark winter evening. On our last visit we enjoyed a feast of anchovies on brioche, croquetas de queso, gambas al ajillo with pan de casa, courgette and sun-dried tomato tortilla, and pan con tomate rounded off with the excellent burnt Basque cheesecake. And the Bobal wine was very nice too! Highly recommended!
