We just had a superb birthday meal at Jamie’s. Chose the 3 course set menu and each dish was delicious. Yummiest duck pâté ever. Delicious sea bream with lobster bisque, so flavoursome, and a gorgeous baked cheesecake with stewed plums to finish. Service with a smile. Quiet and relaxed vibe. Nothing too much trouble and drinks went down well. We’ll be back to try other dishes as soon as possible. Lovely jubbly

The overall experience was great. A very minor issue was that, out of the three people who served us (greeted us, brought the drinks and the food, ... etc.), only one person made eye-contact with me. The other two didn't say anything when they dropped off the drinks and the food, even though I said 'thank you.' Strange... This was as if they didn't want to be there or do what they were doing. Grumpy on a Monday morning, I guess...

Yet another epic roast - Hawksmoor do it so well ! Beautifully cooked beef and excellent sides. Packed restaurant testaments to how good it is. Table service was excellent and the waiting staff handled the fact that we had to leave our table v professionally. That said 90 minutes is a very short window to have a roast, had we had starters then it would have been v challenging. One minor gripe, we continued drinking in the bar area but after initial service were left and no one came to ask if we needed more drinks even when our glasses had been empty for some time. However minor point and, all in all, excellent.

Booked here on our first night in London after reading reviews on opentable. The food and service was so good we are returning the next two nights :))) All the staff are super friendly and nothing is to much trouble. The food we both had was amazing and all top quality ingredients. The steak we had was up there with the best we have ever eaten. Nice choice of reasonably priced wines and selection of deserts to die for. And the final shock was the price i thought was really good for the quality of food and service. Highly recommended if in the area.
