Best Date Night Restaurants in Barangaroo

We celebrated my husbands 60th and the staff could not be more helpful absolutely recommend this place. It’s now my new go to steak restaurant. Thank you all for a great dinner and night

Had an absolutely exceptional, fabulous, gorgeous time with my friends here today. Dining in the cellar room felt like we had gone back in time. A nice feel of classy casual. The level of service was fantastic, with designated friendly waiters continually checking in and keeping us hydrated. The starter/share plates and cocktails were so tasty. Fuss free, and quaint. I look forward to going back.

Everything is great once we arrived. However, when I called to say we were running late and that two people were last minute cancellations, the girl who answered the phone was extremely rude to me. "Would be great for more notice next time." Was her response to me. I had just called to be courteous about the time so was not expecting this at all. We ended up having 5 people dining and the somm and service was great. Just a bit disappointed with the calling situation - especially when I was trying to be polite about us running late. Have heard about this same complaint from other professionals. You'll need to let this person (no idea of her name) know, that this type of behavior is unacceptable - especially when someone calls to politely let you know we are running late. Will be back, but would love for this to be taken on board. Cheers.

Food, wine, service & atmosphere always exceptional

This was my second time there, and I loved it just as much as the first time! I'd recommend looking at their specials as both times there were fantastic options, but their regular menu items are delicious too! I don't know if I've ever had so many GF choices at a Japanese restaurant before, so I'm grateful that O'uchi makes the effort to accomodate.
