- AAmandaNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoFrom the moment we stepped into Opus, we were enveloped in an aura of warmth and sophistication. The ambiance was elegant and lively, the decor was modern and tasteful - just an overall beautiful vibe. But the true stars of the show were the service and the food. Our server, Juan, was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. They guided us through the menu, offering insightful recommendations tailored to our preferences, as well as their specials, and catered to our allergy restrictions. Their service was seamless, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. And then came the food. Each dish was a masterpiece of culinary artistry. The seafood tower was plentiful - filled with king crab legs, lobster, oysters, and shrimp. The sushi was truly something else - we enjoyed an assortment of rolls. And let's not forget the crème brûlée donuts– heavenly. The perfect ending. Opus a true gem. I feel that Opus is underrated when comparing to the other Scotto restaurants, this location is my absolute favorite. The combination of exceptional service, exquisite cuisine, and a captivating ambiance created an unforgettable dining experience for my family and I. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a truly memorable meal. Thank you to our server Juan and Tim the manager who made sure we were happy from beginning to end. - LLauriNew York City •7 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe asked for seating up upstairs and glad we did! So much quieter up there. We could talk across the table without having to say “what?” all the time! The food was really good-our party had the artichoke salad (very different, very good), the short rib pappadelle with homemade noodles(melt in your mouth short ribs), the ricotta cavatelli (good, but over-garlicky, I was told) and chicken Milanese (so good). Spilt the peanut butter crunch cake— more a mousse than a cake imho, but a tasty end to a lovely meal. We ordered the California Merlot, the reasonably priced one(lol) and it opened up deliciously. Oh, I cannot forget the service: from the young man at valet parking, the women hostess & coat check, waiter and bus boys— all lovely and thoughtful. It was a delightful evening!More infoThymePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Roslyn•4.8
