- CCatherineMelbourne •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoEverything about this place is happy. The staff are brilliant and cheerful. The chef appears every now and then making jokes and small talk with the guests and those guests are all smiling. And this is because the food is sooo good. Interesting, well melded flavours, good quality ingredients. Just a great experience. Can't fault the place.More infoAtlas DiningPrice: Expensive• Global, International• South Yarra•4.7
- LLucasLondon •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoI have had the privilege of eating at a few of the highest rated restaurants in the world. I have never had an experience like i had at Attica last night, it was beyond expectations. The ambience when you walk in is simple, elegant with a little bit of obscurity in the artwork to really make it pop. The service was beyond anything i have experienced in Melbourne it was attentive, polite and friendly, the front of house team want to be there and clearly love what they do and were also incredibly knowledgeable of the food they were serving, more so than most chefs. The food, THE FOOD! Everything was divine! Chefs are masters of flavour balance, every single little item was cooked to perfection. The seasoning was perfectly balanced. Big acid hits to delicate flavours and wonderful, adventurous new flavour profiles to try that just delight your tongue. I will end on the food with this. When a chef cooks you a dish that contains ants, that just might be one of the best things you have ever eaten in your life. It does tend to leave you a little speechless with what you think is possible with food. A particular highlight was the soba noodle prawn dish. I just want to say to the chefs that hands down was the most perfect balance of salt to acid ratio I've ever had and I'll be chasing that dragon for a long time to come. Thanks chefs Let's make no mistake, this is, an expensive experience, however a few things to consider. It takes a mountain of people to do this level of service and the quality of staff it requires for this level of perfection... is worth every cent! - RRossMelbourne •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoCannot praise Suzie Q enough. Amazing food! Every item on the menu I’ve almost tried now and all you can do is give those on the table with you a stupid grin in disbelief on how good the food is. My favourites are the Kingfish & anything with Duck honestly. Dishes are well portioned and very aesthetic on the plate. The restaurant itself looks incredible, in there you often see other people dining taking photos of the room as well as the food. Beautiful red lighting, with the exposed brick behind the bar, then adding the red carpet makes you think you’re back in the 90’s at times, yet it’s still very modern. And in my experience staff are so lovely. Very helpful which just tops off the dining experience. 10/10More infoSuzie QPrice: Moderate• Chinese• Windsor•4.6
