Best Restaurants for Foodies in Surrey Hills

Absolutely delicious lunch for a birthday celebration. Every dish was fantastic and we loved the premium wines by the glass. The service staff connected with us and knew when to drift in and out without interruption. We had a lot of dishes and truly believe every dish on the menu would be a winner. As an aside, avoid the underground car park if your car might get caught on the unusually sloped driveway. We heard three cars scrape it, including our own. There is plenty of other parking around and will be worth any walk in the rain!

Tesoro Gastronomia is a really fun restaurant with stunning food and amazing staff. It's a beautiful space and the food was incredible. We had the best team Christmas party and we'll all be back for sure! It feels like a little slice of Italy right here in Melbourne <3

The food, the service, the ambience were all terrific. My one criticism was for the gin and tonic and vodka and tonic that we had to start. Neither of us could taste either alcohol and the tonic must have been from a gun as it had almost no fizz and tasted very flat. Disappointing in an otherwise terrific offering.

Lots of different meat varieties to bbq but all meat was chewy and tough. All these years Desert station is never replenished from 20:45 onwards and item always run out before I get to it. I always miss out on egg tarts. However, there are lots of varieties of delicious food to choose from. The mushroom sauce ran out at the beginning and was never refilled for my steaks. Overall, great place for special occasions and events to suit a wide variety of tastebuds. Adding pizzas and pasta would also be ideal even though it’s an Asian buffet.

Lucky to get a last minute reservation. First time dining after recently moving into the area. Lively Saturday night, despite being busy we had exceptional service from our waiter. The pizzas were fantastic, quality pizza dough. The best pizza in the area. Appreciated our wine recommendation from the friendly manager. Professional service and recommend the pizzas. Thanks for a great date night, our new local.
