- IIsaacSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined todayI loved the experience! I took my beautiful girlfriend there for our anniversary/Valentines Day and they were kind enough to write a little message on our dessert as per request. The food came out surprisingly faster than most restaurants. We got our food within 10-15 minutes when I excepted about 20-35 minutes with the amount of people there. I loved the vibe and will definitely come back again 🙌🏼More infoNobu San DiegoPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Downtown / Gaslamp•4.6
- NNorikoVIPSan Diego •19 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a fantastic time at Herb & Wood. Since we were both busy on Valentine’s Day, we decided to celebrate on Saturday instead. From the moment we arrived, everyone at the restaurant greeted us warmly and made us feel truly welcome. Our reservation was at 5 PM, so the restaurant wasn’t too crowded yet, but even as it filled up, the level of attentiveness remained exceptional. Our waiter, Troy, was friendly, knowledgeable, and offered great recommendations. For appetizers, we had the Sicilian Crudo and one of Troy’s suggestions—a warm dinner bread served with butter, honey, and herbs. I don’t remember the exact name, but it was absolutely delicious! For our main courses, my husband had the Iberico Pork, and I had the Roasted Branzino. The Branzino was packed with herbs and flavors—I usually can’t finish a large meal, but I couldn’t stop eating it. We were too full for dessert, though I wish we had saved room! It was our first time at Herb & Wood, but it’s now on our list of favorite restaurants for special occasions.More infoHerb & WoodPrice: Expensive• Californian• Little Italy•4.7
- VVanessaVIPLas Vegas •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis dinner was spectacular! I have to tell you from the start we almost left. We reserved a table with a view and as everyone knows San Diego weather is unpredictable. The wind was rough and heaters were not cutting it. We had our drinks and we're ready to pay. At a steak house like this you already know dinner is super pricy. I'm not paying $300 to be shivering. Thank you so much to Frank who came by and suggested to our server Joshua's we might like the fire pit. It was amazing!! No more wind chill we even got a little warmer. This made our Valentines dinner. Joshua's went out of his way all night to make our experience amazing as well. Now the food ! I came here not expecting to be swept off my feet. Dinners lately have been kind of disappointing in SD. Tonight we were blown away by this rib eye in truffle butter. I asked for it to be a little charred and red on the inside. The meat was tender and juice spilled onto plate. The potatoes were one of the best things I've had in my mouth. I can not tell you how much I appreciate food seasoned to perfection. The bread was the opening act with how soft buttery, and fluffy it was. The calamari in sweet Chile sauce was different then any calamari we've ever had. Fried to perfection. My lemon drop martini was made by the GODS. I can not wait to come back here once we get our sunny San Diego vibe back. Love is definitely in the air tonight.
