- BBarryVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •12 reviews5.0Dined todayThis visit is my second chance visit and I’m glad the food was great. The wagyu carpaccio was still delicious; however they changed the slices to wider and 6 slices only instead of the thinner 10 slices. The special week Japanese menu snow crab toast was kind of weird and had only wasabi taste to it. Cesar salad was great, bone marrow was on the spot. T bone steak was done just right. The only issue was that our table was close to the neighboring table which was a tad too close.More infoCowboy StarPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown / Gaslamp•4.8

The food coma was worth it!More infoProvisional Restaurant at Pendry San DiegoPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / Gaslamp•4.7
- SScarlettVIPSan Diego •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoLionfish, San Diego Our experience at Lionfish in San Diego was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and stress-free, setting the tone for a fantastic evening. We were treated with the Bang Bang Shrimp, a perfect choice to kick off the meal. Crispy, flavorful, and well-balanced, it was an absolute highlight. For drinks, we ordered an Espresso Martini and the intriguingly named Curious George. While both were enjoyable, I must admit I’ve had better martinis at other bars, particularly at the hotel. The food, however, truly stole the show. We indulged in a variety of dishes: •Oysters: Incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. •Peking Duck: Surprisingly flavorful, with perfectly balanced seasoning. •Sushi Rolls: Creative and packed with taste. •Patatas Bravas: Spicy, rich, and creamy – a standout side dish. •Cut Fillet: Cooked to perfection, tender, and satisfying. Every dish delivered a memorable flavor experience. The combination of fresh ingredients and expert preparation made the meal truly remarkable. Overall, I left Lionfish extremely satisfied. It’s an excellent choice for a high-quality dining experience in San Diego, and I’d happily return to explore more of their menu.More infoLionfish Restaurant at Pendry San DiegoPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Downtown / Gaslamp•4.7
- PPaulaVIPSan Diego •11 reviews5.0Dined on 17 Jan 2025Feels like walking into a small European bistro. So cozy. Food is excellent and very ample portions, especially the appetizers. The smoked salmon is outstanding. Only suggestion would to add a pre- theater menu or happy hour prices, given it’s location near SD Theaters.More infoDobson's Bar & RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Californian• Downtown / Gaslamp•4.6
