Located in historic Blagden Alley in D.C.'s Shaw neighborhood since 2015, The Dabney continues to pay tribute to the wonderful farmers, watermen, and purveyors of the mid-Atlantic region whom provide some of the best and most unique products in the country.     Everything is excellent. They just need to lower music a little bit and play something more soothing (eg Soft Jazz, Bossa Nova), that constant loud drum beat can be annoying at times. No one likes that music they play. Other than that, everything was great. Reading worth it.

    Service started a little slow, but our server had many tables and it's a Saturday night in DC. Fine after he turned some tables. Food was excellent and came out at a nice pace. Look forward to coming back!

    This was a great experience. From the time we walked in until we left the staff were considerably, attentive, and extremely nice. The energy is inviting. The open kitchen was a nice addition to the experience filling the room with warmth. The menu was clearly designed with deep thought and intention. Would highly recommended.

    Delicious food! We asked for a quiet part of the restaurant, and the hostess seated us in their back room. For most of the meal, we had that space all to ourselves and we were able to enjoy the food, the drinks, and the conversation. That made a perfect evening!
