Best Restaurants for Foodies in Tenleytown

I recently celebrated my daughter’s 21st birthday at JONT, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The team went above and beyond to make the evening incredibly special, ensuring every detail was perfect. The 30+ dishes were an absolute culinary masterpiece—each bite bursting with flavor and showcasing incredible attention to detail. The personalized touches and the staff’s warmth made the entire evening feel intimate and unique. We also appreciated the thoughtful gestures, like taking great pictures for us at the end of the night, which added a wonderful keepsake to the memories. Every step of the experience was carefully crafted to be exceptional, and JONT delivered in every way. This was more than just a dinner—it was a journey of flavors and hospitality that my family will cherish forever. Highly recommended for any special occasion!

The wait staff and management were superb. The food was delicious and wonderfully prepared. It is a little slice of France in Georgetown.

We were late for ours reservation because the restaurant is hard for newcomers to spot while driving down MacArthur Boulevard. Better signage would help. William Dakin

Julian was a wonderful server. The food was great. We ordered a “pitcher of sangria” and expected red wine- no they brought champagne and it was the most expensive on the menu $72!!! Not worth it at all. It wasn’t even muddled fruit. It was champagne over ice and fresh orange slices. That was a huge disappointment. BUT- the bacalao was scrumptious and the rest was quite tasty.

Brought my boyfriend here to celebrate his 40th birthday. We arrived to an opening celebratory warm drink from the chef before being shown to our table. At the table we found a handwritten happy birthday card and proceeded to have the best dinner either of us has had in awhile. It was amazing. Our waiter, Nickoli ( hope I am spelling it correctly) was phenomenal. We loved our time here and left with full belly’s and happy hearts. Much thanks!
