    No strangers to Domenica..we had fantastic service, great food and drinks (even a mocktail which should be on the happy hour menu). We asked for window seating, but were told all had been reserved. Not sure that was truly the case.

    The Jazz Brunch was excellent. The food was great we had the quiche, short ribs & eggs and the Bbq gulf shrimp and grits. The wait staff was attentive and should be commended for the excellent recommendations and service. The music was not too loud, just enough to hear it but be able to hear all the conversations at the table. Will definitely go again when we are in New Orleans.

    Restaurant August is worth a trip to NOLA in itself. Rich ambiance, professional and hospitable staff and succulent cuisine. Try the Tuna Crudo and Snapper Ponchartrain. Or anything on the menu including the Chef’s Tasting Menu if you are hungry enough.

    Absolutely fabulous. All of the oysters were beyond luxurious. Our group tried all the different hot ways and the fresh oysters were fresh, mild and briny. The fowl gumbo was to die for with just enough heat to let you know you are in Cajun country. The duck and chicken was melt in your mouth tender. The shrimp and grits were some of the best I’ve had in the country. Definitely a repeat when in town. Was so pleased with both the food AND service I found the manager and made sure to compliment him and the restaurant. Definitely. 5 star meal and very reasonably priced for the quality of food. BRAVO!!!
