- MMarySeattle / Eastern Washington •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis was my third time at Trummer's. Each time has been a great overall experience. My husband, my son-in-law's mother, and I were all pleased with our meals. I love that the Austrian owner has weinerschnitzel and spaetzle on the menu as I love Austrian and German food and it can be difficult to find in this area. My son-in-law's mother and I really enjoyed the Titanic cocktail. My husband had the Austrian wine sampler, one of the wines he liked so much we actually purchased a bottle. Justin, our server, was phenomenal. He was so professional and yet fun. Between the 3 of us, we had a lot of questions about the food, particularly about the Kyoto carrots. When he couldn't answer my question about the spaetzle, he gladly asked the chef and relayed the information. Finally there is so much natural light that comes in through the full length windows in the dining room, one almost felt like one was eating al fresco. We can't wait to return.More infoTrummer's RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Clifton•4.6

Probably a total of 15 small plates. All were delicious and creative. Service and timing also impeccable.More infoZaytinya - DCPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Penn Quarter•4.7
- MmargaretWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWent for Christmas dinner. Foggy Bottom was one of the two locations that had the a’ la carte menu which was why I picked the location. It was a little crowded waiting for our reservation time and they were behind but we expected that and didn’t mind. There were three of us and we all were happy with our meals. We had wings and the corn bread skillet for appetizers. The wings were really good. I’m not a fan of corn in my cornbread but it still tasted good. I had fried shrimp with fries, coleslaw and corn bread. The shrimp and fries were really good. The coleslaw was a little blah. Our other two diners had a platter with ribs, cheeseburger sliders and fried chicken and coleslaw. They both loved theirs but also were not fans of the coleslaw. The staff was friendly and professional and fast. We enjoyed talking to them and the two different sets of patrons sitting beside us. We had a great Christmas dinner despite it not being an “traditional” Christmas dinner and would come back again.More infoFounding Farmers DC: Foggy BottomPrice: Moderate• American• Foggy Bottom•4.5
- CCynthiaWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoChristmas Eve dinner at OEG is a 24-year tradition for my daughter and me. As always, the food was awesome. My daughter and I were quite surprised and disappointed by the lackluster greeting and overall experience when we walked in. The word "dismissive" comes to mind. Because our previous experiences were fabulous, I will look at this visit as a "one-off" one. Merry Christmas and a Happy 2025!!!More infoOld Ebbitt GrillPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown•4.8

The place was packed but the service was efficient. We had both kinds of gnocchi, vegetable frites, Caesar salad and fusilli with three kinds of meat- it was all excellent!More infoFilomena RistorantePrice: Expensive• Italian• Georgetown•4.8
