- CCatherineLondon •1 review4.0Dined 3 days agoThe food was immaculate- tasty, beautifully balanced, interesting. We found the service disappointing for the level of cost. For example we had a bottle of wine which was taken away from the table to keep cool- which is good, as long as the staff keep an eye and top up. But they didn’t. Also forgot part of our drinks order. It was a shame that being left thirsty and a bit frustrated took the edge off our experience. I think they needed one of two more members of staff on our section. On the up side they were all friendly and clearly working hard, just overstretchedMore infoPaco TapasPrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• Bristol•4.7
- KKatieSouth Wales •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoLove, love, LOVE this place. Seriously, don’t even bother going anywhere else ever again – why would you when this gem exists? I’ve been here three times in the last five weeks. Three. That’s not dining out; that’s a committed relationship. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by Andrew – the unofficial mayor of Silures. This man is a delight. Charming, funny, and the kind of accommodating that makes you feel like royalty without the awkward bowing. If Silures had a spirit animal, it’d be Andrew. The service? Flawless. The staff have this magic ability to know what you need before you even know you need it. They’re there when you want them and invisible when you don’t – it’s like they’ve cracked some secret code of perfect service. And the knowledge? Ask them anything about the menu, and you’ll get a MasterChef-worthy breakdown. Need a wine pairing? Done. Unsure about a dish? Sorted. They know their stuff, and they genuinely care about your experience. Now, the food. The food! It’s incredible. Every bite is a revelation, but not in that “tiny portions on a huge plate” kind of way. It’s the perfect balance – enough to feel satisfied without feeling like you need to lie down in a dark room afterward. They’ve nailed it. And the ambience? It’s a fine dining restaurant without any of the arrogance. It’s sophisticated yet welcoming, elegant yet completely unpretentious. You can relax here, which isn’t always the case in fancy places. Silures is simply wonderful. Go once, and you’ll never want to go anywhere else again. Trust me, I would know – I’m already planning visit number four.More infoSiluresPrice: Expensive• Modern European• Cardiff•4.8

We had the Premium tasting menu and enjoy every mouthful. Heini was our server and was very attentive. There were plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices. We chose six plates to share and this was just right. Service was welcoming, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be backMore infoRobunPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Bath•4.2
