Best Restaurants for Groups in Lambertville

The most charming atmosphere, quintessentially Lambertville. Great service and food is excellent.

We each had the turkey dinner, which was delicious. It included a generous portion of white meat turkey with gravy, dressing, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots. We also all had hot tea and our server gave us sugar and lots of lemon slices to use, and offered refills if we wished. For dessert, two of us enjoyed the cranberry orange cake which was served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. One of our party was celebrating a birthday, and our server brought him a brownie with whipped cream and a candle. Both the hostess and server were very cheerful and pleasant, and we all enjoyed having lunch here.

This restaurant and all of their warm, helpful staff, is phenomenal! I have two immune disorders and my husband and I dined there last night for my birthday and Alexis and all of her staff including our waiter were so very kind and accommodating! When I called beforehand to discuss our reservation she was so great about making sure we could eat outside in their absolutely romantic and gorgeous courtyard and she herself made sure we had a working heat lamp. Our drinks were great! Then came homemade rosemary bread with butter and truffle oil sun-dried tomatoes that was baked deliciously and served warm and we could have actually asked for more, and wow the sun-dried tomato spread was tasty! Everything was prepared to perfection with the most delectable sauces you wanted to lap up with the wonderful bread provided. The shrimp appetizer was grilled nicely and this restaurant has really stellar seafood and what appealed to us and we were not disappointed! I then chose for my main the tuna poke bowl with a slight substitution on the watercress for greens. I was assured it was a large enough portion to eat as a main. It actually was large enough I took a portion home but some might eat the entire thing and I had to force myself to stop eating when full it was so delicious! I cannot stress enough how much I recommend this dish! It was the best poke bowl I have enjoyed in my life and I have had many especially sharing and often tasting my daughters through travels many places. The tuna was prepared perfectly and once again the sauce had a toasted nuttiness with I think some sesame topping and it was just sooo yummy! My husband ordered the summer flounder, it was really nice quality and soft, buttery, melt in your mouth seafood served on a bed of scrumptious whipped potatoes with a sauce I kept lapping up the bits he missed with my bread. Veggies were cooked perfectly. For dessert I chose the flourless chocolate torte brought to me with a sparkler! Meal was perfect! Go!

We hadn't been to Martine's in some time, and decided to try it on a Thursday night to avoid the weekend crowds. We were seated quickly and our server, Rich, was extremely pleasant and efficient. We shared a small plate of ricotta toast, topped with marinated grapes. Delicious! I opted for the French cut chicken, served with goat cheese mashed potatoes and haricot verts. My husband had the ahi tuna served on spiralized vegetables. Both were so yummy and beautifully presented. The wines we chose were also quite lovely. All in all, a very cozy atmosphere and a fantastic view of the Delaware River from our table. We'll be back!!

The Deck was a perfect and relaxing spot for a weekday lunch. Sitting along the river, with the last colors of fall on display was a real treat. The food waa yummy;  we had lobster sliders and the cheese steak Panini. As for dessert: the affogato is the BEST ANYWHERE!!!
