We opened our first restaurant in Castlefield, Manchester in 2004 with a clear aim: To deliver quality food to local customers at a reasonable price in a sharp, modern space with friendly, unpretentious service. We have pursued that goal ever since and it has earned us many loyal customers. Our menu is probably classed as British with some additional favourites from Italy and around the globe. The Hop Vine formerly the ‘Royal Hotel’ was built in 1874 and was the main stopping off point for goods being transported to and from the old Turnpike road the A59. The Royal as it was known has served the community and travellers alike. To the rear of the building in our historic Cobbled Garden you will find our own brewery housed in the stables which were used for the horses and stage coaches as they passed through the village. Our first time visiting Ewe and we was not disappointed. From walking into this lovely restaurant and being welcomed by friendly efficient staff. The dining area is a gorgeous environment and atmosphere. Food was delicious and not overly expensive. Very attentive staff but not over the top…i could not fault in anyway. My sister and I went to Blacklock to celebrate early christmas. Sirloin was great and the sides were impeccable especially the chips. The cocktails were delicious too, I highly recommend Caribbean Whisper

Excellent good , can really taste the quality and the flavours , would definitely return to try the rest of the menu , tiramisu is worth the hype was stunning light and not too heavy perfect to finish off a meal
