- GGrahamOxford/Oxfordshire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoFirst time at The Lore of the Land. Blown away by the quality of food, wine and service. We had a group of 7 friends dining for lunch, had an enjoyable pre lunch drink in the bar, and then an amazing 3.5 hours of incredible lunch experience. Particular call out for our waitress, Cher, who served us for the entire 3.5 hours. Great knowledge of the dishes, good sense of humour, and really made the experience top drawer for us. Definitely going again soon.More infoThe Lore of the LandPrice: Very Expensive• Gastro Pub• Fitzrovia•4.7
- MMarkSouthwest Florida •2 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoBeautiful venue, great atmosphere. Too many areas booked out and reserved for private parties so not many places to have a pre-dinner drinks. Had to wait 10-mins for a seat in the small Burr & Co bar. When walking from Burr & Co to Fitz’s brasserie we went to look into the garden restaurant but a man stepped forward and said loudly, “no! Private party only “ Poor manners from him and seems he valued larger private party members more than others. It was a shame so many areas were over. Taken by private groups - I get it, they need the large revenues but it does detract from the experience when so many ‘spaces’ are off limits. Fitzs dining room was great, service attentive, nice buzzy atmosphere and good food.More infoFitz's BrasseriePrice: Expensive• Contemporary European• Bloomsbury•4.5
