The experience started on a slightly awkward note with the front-of-house staff. Both ladies were not very welcoming, and perhaps due to a language barrier, one of them assumed I didn’t have a reservation without even checking. That said once seated I had the best waiter I could ask for! the food was absolutely outstanding. The tartare and fillet were exceptional, and the wine selection was impressive. The sommelier and the waiter truly elevated the experience. The sommelier was friendly and highly knowledgeable, while the waiter was clearly passionate about his work and delivered impeccable service. Their professionalism more than made up for the initial hiccup with the reception staff. Overall Food AMAZING, service AMAZING. I will go back when I am next in Hamburg. Thank you

Beautifully set this is a local tradition we like to visit for memories. We love the welcome and farewell as ships come and go to/ from the port of Hamburg. The service is excellent. The food very good. Four of us enjoyed the four course Menü, which is excellent value for money, a bonus as it was super good and just the right quantity of food.

This is a great place for groups of people with very different food preferences. We are a family with vegan teenagers and a Grandma who prefers traditional German cuisine, and this restaurant does both excellently. I am very grateful for this restaurant! I can’t wait to come back to try more dishes.
