Vatutto is a family run restaurant, Owners Paul and Myrto Recinella moved from their 16 year Institution at Zios East Melbourne to the Ivanhoe location in 2015. A full renovation was completed recently creating a modern yetelegant atmosphere. Vatutto translates from Italian to ‘Everything goes’ the menu here has a diverse flavour selection from all corners of the earth. We all had a lovely day at Sir Henry Barkley for our Christmas dinner. The food was delicious, entree, main course and then sweets. We all came away feeling very full. A little noisy but a great day nether the less.

My friend and I both ordered the chicken satay sticks with two serves of steamed rice. The chicken was hot and tasty but I found the rice a little dry. I think it may have been reheated. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.

So glad we found this restaurant- amazing food, wonderful waitstaff and perfectly sized for a pre-Christmas dinner with friends so you can enjoy each others company without too much noise. Will certainly be going back.
