Best Restaurants for Groups in Pontyclun

Service was great and our waitress Cammy was very attentive and welcoming. Food was excellent and well presented - the steak was fabulous and nicely seasoned. All staff we interacted with were friendly and the restaurant has decent space between the tables so you’re able to enjoy your meal without worrying about moving around or getting out - with limited mobility it takes a while to get moving and in some restaurants you feel that you need to get out quickly so as not to disturb other diners. This is not the the case here and that is appreciated.

Booked for an Afternoon tea for a special occasion... Afternoon tea at the Ivy Cardiff is an event or a spectacle. I think calling it anything else is underselling it. The scones were sublime, the tea as always was exceptional, the sandwiches were light yet filling. The cream cupcakes and the chocolate Bombe are just exceptional. Service was spectacular as always. Truly wonderful experience. Will be going again in the very near future! Superb!

Went for food and drinks Saturday midday, went for the bottomless brunch with champagne and it was really nice, service is always amazing here and the chicken we both had was delicious, we will definitely be back. 10/10 for me.

The food in this Inn is what I would call real pub food and it is excellent value, it does REAL chips. It`s a bit noisy now and again particularly when there is a family occasion but just find a table a little away from them as the lounge bar is a large area. If you are of a certain age they provide a Seniors menu , slightly smaller portions but for the price you pay excellent value.I must give a mention of the staff who are excellent NOTHING is to much trouble for them and they are always friendly and helpful even when they are very busy.
