- CCherelWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoIt was very busy, but that matter. Our waiter really hustled and did a perfect job! We ordered off the Thanksgiving menu. The food was excellent! Everything was spiced well We really enjoyed our visit!More infoVola's Dockside GrillPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Old Town Alexandria•4.6
- SsandraWashington, D.C. Area •32 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoA busy time at the restaurant serving on Thanksgiving. Still they make the effort to individually welcome their guests. Service might have been slow at times but who wants to rush a holiday dinner. Raw oyster appetizer was outstanding. Not a lot one can do to make a traditional turkey dinner over the top. All was very good, wished the green beans were cooked longer but that’s the way French influenced restaurants like to prepare them.More infoThe WarehousePrice: Moderate• American• Alexandria•4.7
- JjennyWashington, D.C. Area •48 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFor the third time, we ate Thanksgiving lunch/dinner mid-afternoon at Succotash. The crowds from early had left and the evening folks hadn't come, so it was relatively quiet. There is one menu for Thanksgiving, so we didn't have to make any decisions. Everything was great and we brought some turkey and ham, a deviled egg, and brussel sprouts home with us. The salad vanished quickly, as did the mashed potatoes and green beans. Desserts are so cute, and it is great to have several to sample. /They didn't make it home with us either! Our only addition was mugs of the hot mulled cider (sans Bourbon - no alcohol for us). It is truly worth it!More infoSuccotash - National HarborPrice: Moderate• American• National Harbor•4.5
- TTerryBaltimore / Maryland •4 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoThe restaurant is busy which is good. Our table was too close to another table and the person seated near the “aisle’ continually had her chair kicked by staff and patrons trying to get between her and the person behind her. That does not make for a pleasant dining experience. The noise level was very high so everyone had to raise their voices to be heard. Having music playing at that time was pointless and added to the noise level. I had a side salad which was boring as not much on it but lettuce and a few cucumbers. The blue cheese dressing was bland as well with few chucks of cheese. The fish tacos were good with a generous portion of fish. My husband had the lasagna which was good and a generous portion. The server may have checked on us once and we had to ask to have our water glasses filled.More infoThe Island HideawayPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Solomons•4.7
