Best Restaurants for Groups in U Village / U District

We have never had a bad experience at La Spiga. It is where we go to celebrate milestones and birthdays and it never disappoints. Max in particular was lovely yesterday and the food was delicious.

Another terrific dinner at Rock Creek, this time early, week night, not quite as crowded, still noisy. They are awaiting some sound baffling, which should help. Meanwhile, the servers are excellent and help find the best seating. Smoked trout salad always delicious, and a very generous portion, given that it is a "Starter." We also shared the sea bass Provençal (under "Finfish"), perfectly done, luscious, and the roasted cauliflower side (who knew cauliflower could be so great). Rock Creek's menu lists many ingredients for each of its dishes, but none are for show. The flavors are clear, each ingredient adding something distinct, yet completely integrated and beautifully presented. Pricy but totally satisfying.

We reserved a group dinner for my closest co-workers for a Friday celebration. Revel was easy and attentive in the pre-event arrangements. The menu was varied, plentiful and delicious. Service excellent. A memorable, very enjoyable event.

The restaurant was phenomenal! The decor was great, the ambiance was fantastic, and the service went above and beyond! We had a large group and Ty and his colleagues took great care of us all! Definitely on my eat there again list!

Food was delicious!! Atmosphere was excellent. A win all around.
