All the meat on our menus is “nose to tail” so the menu is ever changing, and we waste nothing. We even employ our own head ranger to keep the deer herds on the land we manage under control, and have our own deer larder in the Cotswolds where this amazing product is processed.Our fish comes from day boats in Cornwall.We work with the seasons, ensuring the very best truly local veg is with us the day after its picked. We had a delicious Sunday Roast - strip loin of beef for me and lamb for my husband. Generous portions, range of vegetables, Yorkshire puddings and roasties. ( Roasties were the only MINOR letdown - so difficult to provide crispy roasties in a busy restaurant on a Sunday; these were crisp but clearly reheated) Dessert - we really didn’t have room but it would have been rude not to! Equally yummy. Service was attentive without being overbearing. If we lived nearer we’d certainly revisit.

Wonderful Sunday lunch today. Wish I had booked last night too. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were all very amenable and efficient. All of them were excellent which is a good sign. Very pleasant atmosphere.

We had a lovely afternoon tea , the food was delicious , the staff were really helpful , it was a little bit cold in the room and they went out of their way to get heat on for us and it was fine .

We have visited this venue on a number of occasions and were pleased to see a new menu. There is a wide range of choices on the A La Carte menu, we enjoyed a sour dough pizza and scampi for our main course. The food is well presented and fresh. The staff at the resturant are friendly and ensure that you enjoy your visit. I would recommend this resurant and look forward to coming back.
