All the meat on our menus is “nose to tail” so the menu is ever changing, and we waste nothing. We even employ our own head ranger to keep the deer herds on the land we manage under control, and have our own deer larder in the Cotswolds where this amazing product is processed.Our fish comes from day boats in Cornwall.We work with the seasons, ensuring the very best truly local veg is with us the day after its picked. This was a really excellent pre-theatre meal. We were eating with old friends, one of whom had eaten at 'The Oppo' on many occasions. He, like us, was delighted at the meal and the fact that he felt the standard was as high as ever. Great food, served in plenty of time but not too quickly, really well cooked and hot, served on hot plates too. The restaurant was really busy (always a good sign!) and yet didn't feel crowded - in fact there was a really nice 'buzz'. All the staff were very attentive and friendly and it started our evening off in perfect fashion. Many thanks and see you again 😊

Wonderful Sunday lunch today. Wish I had booked last night too. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were all very amenable and efficient. All of them were excellent which is a good sign. Very pleasant atmosphere.

We had a lovely afternoon tea , the food was delicious , the staff were really helpful , it was a little bit cold in the room and they went out of their way to get heat on for us and it was fine .
