Park Tavern Neighborhood Bar & Brewery is located in the heart of midtown on the corner of 10th St. & Monroe overlooking Piedmont Park and the midtown skyline. Park Tavern rejuvenated its restaurant and menu for the 2019 summer season. Our building was originally built in 1905 as horse stables for local racing enthusiasts and then transformed into a golf clubhouse in 1928. This evening we had the Portobello Tartare to start, and Beef Bourguignon as our entree. This was possibly the best beef I've ever had, and I am a complete food snob. It was so tender you could have cut it with a spoon. It melted in our mouths! The food was exceptional, the servers were attentive but not intrusive. The ambience was on the loud side, but understandable at a festive family-friendly event. I've eaten here many times, and I've never had a bad bite, but tonight was superlative!
