Best Restaurants for People Watching in Tempe

Had an amazing experience here for our yearly Christmas dinner. I highly recommend this trendy restaurant to anyone. Food was great, portions were perfect and service was top notch. Very cool ambiance as well. Will be coming back here soon!

We had a fantastic dinner at Three Thirty Three. Upon walking into the restaurant, we went up to the check in area and were greeted with a warm smile and friendly and accommodating hostess. The interior is beautiful - full video display of an underwater scene, blooming trees, and dark and moody vibes which was great. There was also a DJ playing music but it was still easy to have conversation at our table. I’ve seen some negative reviews online but our meal was awesome. It’s higher end so I would go with the more expensive meal options if you really want to have a great dinner experience. We tried the bad and bougie cocktail. It was prepared table side with its own bar cart, they used homemade syrup and put gold flakes on top. AMAZING! We had the tuna crudo, prawns, and edamame appetizers - all very good. We did the A5 wagu and the chef came out to our table to cook the steak and talk about how the meat is raised/prepared. We also had the salmon which was flaky and tasty. Dessert was also top notch. Our server Emilio and the rest of the wait took very good care of us. We had a great time from start to end and will definitely go again.

The new owners have dialed in the food and it was very good. The service was a bit scattered and hectic as the servers were trying to get to everyone. It was not a relaxed atmoshere. We felt rushed. There was a large party of 16-20 people who were very loud and that added to the hectic environment. Next time we'll ask for a table somewhere in a corner or outside.

I recently visited The Ends, and I was not disappointed! The experience was wonderful, with a romantic ambiance that sets the perfect mood for a night out. The drinks? Absolutely phenomenal—creative, balanced, and downright memorable. However, let’s talk about the fries. Our waitress enthusiastically recommended them, so we gave them a shot, but… don’t. They’re your standard frozen fries served with ketchup—nothing special. Honestly, we weren’t even considering them until her pitch swayed us. Lesson learned. All in all, The Ends is a fantastic spot. Just steer clear of the fries, and you’ll be in for a great time!

We had a wonderful experience. The cocktails were so good and fitting for the holiday season. Our meals were excellent (chicken avocado salad and the turkey French dip). We also had the brie toast appetizer along with a side of the spicy rice. Everything was delicious. The service was very attentive but not over the top, thanks Leanna. We will dine there again.
