Best Restaurants for Quiet Conversation in Annandale

Went on a date here and sat upstairs, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We ordered the french onion soup and paired it with the dirty martini special. For our mains the Coq Au Vin (Sunday plat de jour) was absolutely phenomenal. We really enjoyed the kind service and romantic atmosphere. Would totally recommend this spot to a friend or family member for their next date night or special dinner event.

On a Saturday night the place was busy but attention by the staff and server was excellent. The food was excellent and the drinks delectable.

I had not been to the Tabard Inn in a while, but so glad we had lunch there today. Everyone from the host to the server was welcoming and nice. The food was delicious - I had a salad with grains, greens and squash that i topped with grilled shrimp and it was fabulous. I will definitely be back soon.
