Masala Art offers combinations you don't see often around here, but even its more familiar dishes can be revelations. Consider its samosas. They're flakier than a lot of the competition, and their filling of peas, potatoes and sweet raisins tastes fresher, too. A burst of cardamom in every bite helps. In the same vein, soft logs of minced lamb pulse with heat from jalapeno peppers, a shock offset with breezy mint.     Even after not having been here in a long while, it's still charming, warm, and the food is exuberant.. if food can be that!! Wine also great and it was not an expensive one either. Service was attentive, quiet and professional. Great spot to go for dinner for any occasion but know it will be worth it. Noise level increased because a big party at a long table nearby but even so, we were able to carry on a conversation pretty well. i'll be back and it will be sooner.

    Very pleased. Excellent beet salad, bouillabaisse and branzino. Very hot - kudos, the food had obviously been on the stove a minute before it was served. Wines by the glass not extensive, but ok. Pleasant surroundings, quiet enough for conversation. Convenient parking right behind the building. We will be back, this is a keeper - a neighborhood restaurant with really good food at reasonable prices.

    My family has dined at Bistrot Lepic since it opened more than 20 years ago and it is oir culinary home aqay from home. It is a cut above most French restaurants ih the DC area and has a warm and welcoming ambience.
