The Live and Let Live inn is a prominent part of the Landscove community. Our lovely country pub, a hidden gem if you will, follows a farm to table philosophy, being supplied as much as possible for meat and vegetables from local farms such as, Anran and Stippadon.Along with other local suppliers around South Devon.Instinct is the greatest tool in our kitchen as our food is primarily cooked intensely over charcoal in our Birtha oven, or low and slow in our chef's smoker. We take the classics and make them better.

A wonderful setting in a very pretty village. Seating is limited so it is advised to book in advance. The service is well drilled and we did not experience any problems. We ordered our meal and the waitress did tell us there would be quite a wait. Not a problem and well worth the 45 minutes. Please remember that this is freshly cooked food and quality produce. If you want a quick "ping" meal then best think about going to a large pub chain! All of our meals arrived pipping hot and well worth the wait, fantastic. We also met the two sisters who are the chefs and they told us that they along with a sisters husband have been there for 20 years. They were very passionate about what they do and how they source the produce as local as possible. A lovely evening and we will be revisiting again in the new year.

Very comfortable surroundings, relaxed atmosphere, warm and cosy. Food very good, Turkey pie would benefit from some gravy, prawn and.monkfish curry was excellent. Excellent service and reasonably priced. Woodburning stove would be better lit.

The only disappointment was that the rotisserie chicken was off, probably the main reason to visit the restaurant. However the food we did have was of a very good quality. Very good flavours, well developed. Overall a very enjoyable meal.
