- DDavidNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoI hate it when restaurants put a discretionary service charge on. I pay it but would tip anyway if the food and service are value for money. And a further point is the Employer should be paying decent salaries without staff having to rely on tips for their living.More infoBlackfriars RestaurantPrice: Expensive• British• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.6
- MMarkNewcastle and Northumberland •8 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe have had Sunday lunch here on many occasions and it has always been excellent, this time we opted for an evening meal and weren’t dissapointed. A nice table, pleasant staff and an excellent meal for both of us. Will certainly be back!!More infoHibou BlancPrice: Expensive• British• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.6
- PPaulNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoIt’s the first time we have ate here but it won’t be the last. The ambience was really lovely. The sirloin steak was delicious as was the stroganoff. Service was really friendly and frequently checked to make sure everything was ok. I’d highly recommend this restaurant, definitely at the end of a busy day shopping and especially if you enjoy a steak.More infoPorterhouse Butcher & GrillPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.7
- BbarryNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined on 10 Dec 2024We tried this place after seeing a review online and it looked great ,the starter was amazing Camembert in a sour dough loaf ,the mains were average I had a burger which while it was tasty and cooked well just wasn’t as good as some others for the price ,my partner had the pepperoni pizza which was also tasty ,we had 2 pints of made and 1 Pepsi the bill came to £78 which we feel was a bit on the high side ,but wouldn’t stop us returning in the futureMore infoThe Woodmans ArmsPrice: Moderate• British• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.3
