We had Lasagna and it was exquisite, pasta penne arrabiata was very spice, too much hot chillis, my mouth was on fire, i am half italian and lived in italy for 10 years but never had arrabiata so spicy, if i wanted a curry i could have gone to a curry house so i dont recommend the arrabiata dish.

If you value the best food, the best wines, the best service and the best atmosphere, you just can’t go wrong here. Just spectacular. If you can afford it, go often and if you can’t, save up. You won’t regret it.

We’ve been here a few times now. The food is amazing. The Sunday roast is the best! We went on a week night this time and enjoyed the sea food chowder with a side of chips. We had shared starters and a dessert! Loved it all. The staff are fabulous; attentive and friendly. The building is cute and cosy. Fairy lights and candles. Would throughly recommend, but you need to book well in advance! It’s popular. Rightly so.

A lovely meal on Friday at Quinta Everything we had was excellent and very reasonably priced. We particularly liked Quinta have revived the practice a bringing a basket of bread to nibble on arrival - and excellent bread too ! Lots of great fish on the menu too We enjoyed a very reasonable Portuguese wine too. Our only suggestion is to request more than one vegetarian main on the special menu. Although the celeriac was delicious , it just happened that we had eaten celeriac the night before. So a choice would have been good. But the vegetarian scotch egg starter was first class ! Thank you for a lovely evening. And so near Ilkley station to hop on the train home ..👍👍
