This is the second time we have done the festive afternoon tea and it’s has been an outstanding experience every time and I would recommend it to anyone. Only quibble is a for couple of the finger sandwiches the bread was hard but everything else was delicious.More infoBrasserie ABode - CanterburyPrice: Expensive• British• Canterbury•4.2

- RRichardLondon •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis was my first but not last visit. It was Nutcracker themed afternoon tea. All tables were in themed booths, the deco was outstanding (says the art student) and gave a really great feel. Food was plentiful and really imaginative (think pigs in blanket hot dog in brioche canapé) and good quality. Music obvs was Nutcracker (think Dad would’ve ben disappointed not ELP) and loads of Xmas favs. Just a truly brilliant experienceMore infoMad Dogs & EnglishmenPrice: Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Leigh-On-Sea•4.8
- SSimonLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoHad a wonderful time at The Ivy Canterbury. We arrived early but were seated immediately. The restaurant was busy but not too noisy and the decor and ambience was excellent. Our waitress Millie, was very friendly and quick to attend to our needs. Food and drinks were bought to us in a timely manner and the food was excellent (the Ivy Snowman quite something although I'd recommend to share). Despite the place being busy and a clear demand for tables, at no point did we feel rushed and after we finished our meal and settled the bill, we moved to the bar to have a few more drinks at our leisure where once again the mixologists were chatty and friendly and able to make a multitude of cocktails of our choosing without having to check how to make them. The food and drink were on the pricier side but you get what you pay for and the bill was not unreasonable for what we received. As a Canterbury resident, I think I have a new favourite restaurant/bar.More infoThe Ivy, CanterburyPrice: Moderate• British• Canterbury•4.3
- EEmilyKent •1 review5.0Dined on 30 Nov 2024We had such a lovely afternoon tea at the Falstaff to venerate a birthday. We were given a glass of bubbly on the house for the celebration which was kind. The food was great, adapted for one gluten free . The waitress Sarah was so lovely and attentive, even though she covering everything on her own. She wowed us and we had a lovely experience.More infoFalstaff in CanterburyPrice: Moderate• European• Canterbury•3.8
