- DDebbieBrighton •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoAnother fabulous lunch at Tottington Manor. We received a warm welcome from the front of house team and were shown straight to our table where we were introduced to Eve who looked after us from there on in. The menu gave us food for thought (excuse the pun) as all the choices sounded delicious. I opted for the beets and goats cheese which was light and not too filling before my main of a lamb burger with chunky chips. The burger was absolutely amazing, homemade and topped with fried halloumi and then two slices of roast lamb, all served in a brioche bun! My fellow diners all had a roast dinner (2 of them chose the sharing board which had 3 meats and they said all were cooked to perfection) and they all said how good the food was. We were helped with our wine selection by Eve who has a very good knowledge of the wines available and we opted for a Merlot, a Malbec and a pinot grigio blush all of which were excellent. We all had a dessert, my cheeseboard was fabulous and I especially enjoyed the honey that was served with it, an unusual accompaniment but perfect with all 4 of the cheeses. The restaurant was very busy but not at all noisy and the service was prompt without feeling you were being rushed in any way. Whilst it’s not a cheap meal out considering we all had 3 courses, 3 bottles of wine and after dinner liqueurs it was excellent value for money! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Terra restaurant and Tottington Manor.More infoTerra Restaurant at TottingtonPrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• Henfield•4.7

For the desert course they made a personalised birthday cupcake as well as a hand written birthday card for my mum. We will definitely be coming back :)More infoAmberley Castle RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary British• Arundel•4.6

- NNatalieSurrey •1 review5.0Dined on 15 Dec 2024Lovely venue and very helpful staff. We had a cream tea for 2 with a glass of sparkling local wine (which we didn’t get!) Personally I don’t think I would pay that amount again for what we got, the salmon on a small roll was inedible and the sandwiches were literally a 1/4 of a piece of bread with filling each. The scone wasn’t particularly fresh and the cake offerings were tiny. The breakfast tea was lovely, and the service fabulous. So all in all don’t bother with the afternoon teas over priced, just not worth it. But service lovely so go and try the hotel, Spa and main meals.More infoThe Spread Eagle Hotel & Spa - The RestaurantPrice: Expensive• British• Midhurst•4.4
