Best Restaurants with Bar Seating in Highlands - Bardstown Rd / Taylorsville Rd

Had the Banana Bread French toast, it was amazing. Chefs kiss!! The restaurant staff were very attentive and did an excellent job. Highly recommend, had a great experience. 

We were staying at the Grady Hotel attached to the restaurant, so it made perfect sense to choose the Wild Swann as our dining destination. Everything about our experience exceeded our expectations. The menu was smart; not a lengthy list, but perfectly in line with a restaurant of this size… there was something for everybody, including the two vegetarians in our party of four. Be prepared to be NOT shocked by the pricing; we found it fair and an exceptional value given the surroundings and the level of service. Every member of the staff we encountered was exceptionally polite and attentive, without ever interrupting our experience unnecessarily. We went to a show after dinner here, and as we were staying in the hotel upstairs, returned for a nightcap in the bar area. Again, the service was top-notch! Will definitely return the next time we’re in the beautiful city of Louisville. Thank you Wild Swann and all of the Grady Hotel staff!

Had a wonderful date night here for Valentine’s Day. Wonderful ambience! Exceeding expectations handing ladies roses and passing hors d'oeuvres to those waiting to be seated. Service was phenomenal with Kiki as our server. We never had to request anything as she anticipated our needs and wants. We had the mushrooms as an appetizer, cowboy steak and salmon for our entrees. Our meals were delicious and the creme brulee was a delicious ending to our evening.

Ross was our server and treated us like VIPs. There was a large convention in town and usually that causes individual attention to go out the window but not here. It was my 10 year old grandson’s birthday and they made him feel like a grown up. It was a magical experience worth every penny. I think this is the first time since COVID that I felt like we were actually having a fine dining experience. The food was fabulous we got the 3 tiered seafood tower - yes it is expensive but as far as a return on investment it was over the top. The presentation is impressive and each item was perfectly prepared. Ross and the rest of the staff went out of their way on a very busy night and I think we are going to make it an annual event. Wonderful meal always! The frittata with Kale salad is a must!
