- MMarkAdelaide •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThe menu was good and what you’d expect from a wholesome traditional pub. Food and service was excellent. Good selection of craft beers. Reasonably quiet bistro area allowing easy conversations in a relaxed environment. Not really a “5 star dining experience”, but for a traditional somewhat dated pub, couldn’t have got much better.More infoPig & Whistle Tavern - OlindaPrice: Expensive• British• Olinda•4.7
- JJohannaMelbourne •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoGreat food, amazing wine list, beautiful breeze through big open windows on a lovely summer evening with friends. This place is a big draw card in The Basin! Staff were super friendly and helpful. They adapted a couple of dishes for us which was fab. Would definitely recommend to others as a good place for a meal to celebrate , or just because!More infoThe Peacock DenPrice: Expensive• Modern Australian• The Basin•4.6
- JJessicaMelbourne •4 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI asked if they would do a veg. Lasagne and I got a message telling me as of tonight they would be serving one and boy was it worth the wait. The food was delicious and the virgin pina colada was lovely. We will be returning very soon.More infoMicawber TavernPrice: Moderate• Pub• Belgrave•4.3

- AAngieTasmania •6 reviews5.0Dined on 14 Dec 2024We dined here for an early dinner starting with a dozen fresh oysters & a glass of Prosecco for golden hour. It was a lovely evening so we sat out side in the court yard & had our oysters, then got escorted to our table when our entrees were ready. It was a lovely way to start the evening. Then we shared the duck liver parfait, prawns & a tomato salad. For mains we couldn’t decide so we ended up sharing the pork belly & the barramundi which were both Devine! After all this food we had to share the basque cheese cake to top off a wonderful evening.More infoCognoscenti Food & WinePrice: Expensive• Modern Australian• Belgrave•4.8
