Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Fort Wright, Kentucky

We sat at “counter seating” and I had my doubts because I felt it would be like bar type seating. For two people it is perfect seating. You can both see the action in the restaurant and yet be able to talk with each other. Our service was spectacular - multiple people checked in with us. Most people there were going to a show after dinner - like myself - the restaurant was on top of it. We did not feel rushed at all. The food was wonderful. We had fish and chips (not battered, but incredible) and shrimp and grits - both were fantastic. Our drinks were first rate as well. I had been here years ago and thought ‘it’s OK but with this visit (again many years later) I thought “I have to come back!”.

Our server, Gina, was really lovely. It’s rare we have a server these days who truly cares about our experience. She was thoughtful, attentive, and gave lovely recommendations. Our food was pretty good! We’re hard to please, and we left full and satisfied. For a hotel restaurant, we were impressed. The white table clothes make it a tad stuffy, but it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We dined later in the evening on a weekday so the place was empty. I was served the smallest oysters I have ever seen! Isn't there a size requirement for harvesting oysters? Have to guess these oysters were way too young!

Food and service was outstanding! Easy off street parking.

The food was amazing. We have D a table of 7 and every one of us thought we ordered the best thing on the menu, so we were all sharing. I now have 7 favorite items on the Menu. I highly recommend the lamb shank. It melts in your mouth. If you haven't had Lebanese food before the spices are probably not what you are used to but so good and absolutely amazing flavors.
