Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Foster City

Remotely located and somewhat of an adventure to get to. Cozy surroundings. Food very good but expensive. Wines very expensive. Mandatory 20 percent tip.

We had a pleasant evening at Mistral’s. It mostly seemed like a well oiled machine. The menu is creative with varied choices. We liked the onion soup and caesar salad. The crab cakes drew positive comments; less so the surf and turf which included a chewy sirloin turf. Service was friendly and attentive.

Restaurant was bustling and lively with a great, warm atmosphere. Food was really good and the servers were very professional and attentive. Only comment is that it was super loud, we could hardly hear each other at a table of four. But good for them that they were so crowded! I totally recommend it, just know it may not be quiet.

Great place to eat and drink, and it is a neighborhood gem. ENJOY
