Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Steamboat Springs

Holli (the Manager) was an amazing hostess for our time at Haymaker. The snow in Steamboat got off to a slightly slower start than expected, and she communicated with us ahead of time that the sleigh ride was not going to be possible…. She provided her own cell phone as it means of allowing us to have direct access in case we had questions or concerns for this booking. A couple of days prior to our reservation (12/29/24) we were delighted to learn that Holli and her team at Steamboat were able to reverse their decision because of recent snowfall. We were able to have a splendid evening at the clubhouse with an intimate sleigh ride. Dinner was delicious and Holli and her team were present to make sure the evening went perfectly, which it did. What an amazing experience at Periodic Table steamboat! They sat us right in front of the fire on a special date night. Great staff, very friendly and our steak was delicious and elk carpaccio :) can’t wait to come back next time we are in town

Delicious Jamaican Jerk Chicken. The sauce was perfectly spicy and was offset by the Jamaican rice and plaintains. Perfectly cooked, moist and juice. Short rib mac was creamy and the mushrooms sauteed in something delicous. Appreciated the size of the mushrooms. Corn choder was soothing and a great starter soup! Service was amazing, lived the effort of our server wearing a Grinch shirt, very cool! All around incredible experience! Will be back!

We had a wonderful evening, and our server was fantastic (Wesley I believe, and the new guy who was helping him!). Food great! Thank you, we always love this place and glad it’s open again!
