- JJUDITHPortland / Oregon •9 reviews5.0Dined todayThe food is outstanding! However, It took at least a half hour after being seated before we were greeted at our table. It was VERY loud where we were sitting as there were two parties in the same small room that were making way too much noise. It was impossible to carry on a business conversation. That being said, the food made up for the slow service and loud tables.More infoRingSide Steakhouse - UptownPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• NW Portland•4.9
- TToriLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoAgh, the Tirol, food made with familiar ingredients combined as the Swiss do from intoxicating mountain peaks. As I have Swiss ancestry I can say the food is frank, and precise even the food comes in peace indeed the coziness of knowing what is simple, say pickled celery. The air might be thin at the mountain top yet here it is sturdy like a mountaineer’s cane with a finish as bright as pears and smoky fish with your own milk pot bubbling with cheese. It’s calming it’s fun it’s a night out full cheer. I’ll budiono that.More infoAlpenrauschPrice: Expensive• Contemporary European• SE Portland•4.5
- RRobynPortland / Oregon •19 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoAfter two years of having Thanksgiving Dinner at a large and noisy chain restaurant, we opted for King Tide this year. We had not been here before, and it was a great first impression. It was the perfect low-key Thanksgiving we needed. The food was top-notch, and the service was low-key but just right. We'll definitely be back to try out brunch and maybe lunch or dinner some other time. My son and husband had the turkey dinner special and they were both pleased with the quality of the meal. I ordered the special individual beef wellington along with a wedge salad from the regular menu. I am hooked on the wedge salad - it is the best I have ever had with the flavors/seasoning in the dressing. The beef wellington was great. I had never had beef wellington before (but I've definitely seen recipes for it), but it was delicious. For dessert we each tried a different dessert and shared bites with each other - the King Tide sundae, the Basque cheesecake and the pecan pie. All 3 were great! The restaurant opened at 2pm and our reservation was a 2pm, so there was no wait to be seated and our food arrived quickly.More infoKing Tide Fish & ShellPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.2
- SSofiaPortland / Oregon •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThe whole experience was really good! We chose to try different small dishes rather than a entree and it was so good to try different things! Also the patio is really cozy and perfect for a nice diner. We will come back.More infoBar Casa ValePrice: Expensive• Spanish• SE Portland•4.4
