Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Van Nuys

Our weekend staple. Go to Front Yard before Universal Studios. They have the best pitchers of mimosas or other delicious alcoholic spritz’s. You have to start with their home made pop tart. Then we usually get shrimp n grits, the hot chicken biscuit is to die for and you can never go wrong with the burger or the kale Caesar. Always great staff, and food comes fast even is it’s busy. Highly recommend.

This is by far a unique Mexican high-end restaurant that is worthy of the price!

First time here, definitely won’t be the last with my girl. High expectations and met them across the board. Attentive service even with a smaller staff on a Tuesday evening with every dish being perfection. Baked Camembert special, spaghetti with truffle Alfredo and meatballs, mussels with bread and chorizo broth were all a must. Very well affordable on top of it all! Get the spaghetti.. trust me.

I did a Valentine prix-fixe dinner. It came with several beautiful courses. It was extremely expensive, but I’d do it again. We made an early reservation for 6pm because we had a 7:30 show to catch, but when we arrived at 5:50pm the restaurant was still being set up. There was an awkward moment with the staff telling us we could wait inside and then someone else asking us to wait outside, so if a manager from the restaurant reads this I’d recommend being ready a bit sooner to avoid that situation (or have a plan if you’re not). Once they were ready at a little past 6 we were seated and the service was lovely. The ambiance was so romantic, the singer had a gorgeous voice, and the show girls walking around in feathers added a mysterious and sexy vibe. Would go again and do recommend.

We have been here many times. The food is amazing, the service is great and we leave planning our next meal there. Thank you Oleg and Rina! Best place in town.
