A True Neighborhood Tavern With its homelike atmosphere, the Valley Lodge is one of the iconic and go-to restaurants on the North Shore. Founded in 1969 by brothers Peter and Taki Adamis, the Glenview location quickly became THE popular dining destination. In 1997, new owners Bill and George Stavrou carried forward the tradition in Glenview, and later in 2014 when they opened its Wilmette location.Our philosophy has always been and is to create a true neighborhood tavern.     The cut, flavor, temperature and seasoning were the best I’ve ever had at Rosebud tonight. Two skirt steak that definitely outshined prior visits to Morton’s, Gibson’s and RPM. The meal started with the crowd pleasing chopped salad. Loaded with cubed vegetables. We ended with delish banana cream pie. Thank you for the spectacular meal tonight!

    Great experience from the minute you walk in the door: Warm greetings from the hostess, excellent service from our server, Kevin, Rene, who works magic at the bar, & bus staff were so attentive. A very nice wine menu, delicious meal: definitely recommend the Roasted Beets, Rolli Alla Francesca; everything we had was wonderful. Perfect evening; keep doing what you are doing!

    Great spot with above average food. The salads were great, the French onion was very average, the ambience was cool. I would definitely go back but wish they can improve on the soup a bit.

    Very good service, noise level high. Recommend the chicken kabob, but forget the onion soup. Request to sit by the fireplace. Cozy.
