Best Restaurants for Local Ingredients in Carmichael

Menu has improved! Portions better. Pricing is still a little high!

My wife and I were blown away by the sleek yet tasteful ambiance of Omakase. Spent our 10th wedding anniversary here and had our breath taken away by how delicious the food was. We did trust the chef's menu with the sake pairing and I did not disappoint. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back.

I was there with my son, my friend and her daughter. Our kids have been friends since elementary school just as long as we have been friends. We were celebrating friendship, and the holidays and Prelude was just the place to do that. The food, drinks and ambiance was superb. My friend’s daughter is vegetarian and she was satisfied with a delicious beat salad! I was delighted with the filet mignon. I have to say this is an outstanding and restaurant. I have been here a few times and I always leave satisfied knowing I want to return. Superb!

We specifically selected the Camden Spit & Larder for our Christmas Eve brunch as we'd heard it was the ONLY place ANYWHERE for MILES where we could sample a Scotch Egg and, even though it wasn't on the 12/24 menu, the chef prepared an AMAZING Scotch Egg with a salmon crusted shell. The restaurant is very very nice with exceptional drinks and very good food. However the waitress although very nice decided to send all the food out almost at the same time and when they brought out the main courses we had just started eating our appetizers. We will still go back but we felt a little bit rushed and next time I will definitely ask the server to let us enjoy our appetizers before rushing all the food out even though I believe it should be common sense especially at a restaurant of this level.
