Best Restaurants for Local Ingredients in Cathedral City

Rack of lamb, paella and the octopus were all excellent! Darwin is an excellent server. Really enjoyed our evening.

This classic desert restaurant is better than ever. Food was sis excellent with its revised menu which is easy to read. (thanks! I noticed) Oysters with best ever mignonette sauce; can’t wait to order them again. Dover sole meunière - perfection. And I ended with a grand mariner soufflé , it didn’t disappoint. Definitely making this my go to special dinner place. Service was perfect and ambiance with live mellow music made for the perfect evening. Book it!

My wife and I who are regular customers of Si Bon came in for dinner and both began with their “Soup of the Day “ Hot Carrot Soup made from fresh ingredients. All of their daily soups are great. We also both had iced tea. My wife had a dinner special, Grilled Orange Roughy that our server, Sofia, had told us was substituted for Branzino which actually was shown on the menu. I enjoyed the Oregon Sand Dabs. Both meals were delicious and prepared with excellence.

Elena was one of the best servers I’ve encountered in years. Knowledgeable, and personable. Wedge salad was a welcome twist on what is typically a steakhouse staple. The crispy skin on the roasted chicken is reminiscent of the Union Sq Cafe in NYC which is the best ever. Pricey, but very good restaurants are these days. Good option, especially if you’re staying either at the hotel or the villas.

Booked this due to proximity to the Baloon Festival and were very pleasantly surprised. The unassuming exterior hides a true gem. Enjoyed every bite, and the staff was attentive and professional. We will be back.
