- VVihangaSan Diego •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoMy experience at Meridia was awesome. The server was so sweet to me. She. Checked about all my likes dislikes for everything I ordered. It was our anniversary and she made us feel very special. Loved all her recommendations and we ended up trying a few things recommended by her and loved it !! Will definitely come again !!More infoMeridiaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Kohala Coast•4.7
- LLeonaHawaii •13 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe love Roy’s and go on every visit to the Big Island. We have food allergies and have found that Roy’s will make accommodations that we need. Their new menu has gluten free items clearly marked. Our server was knowledgeable and took great care of us. He went back to the kitchen and checked on any questions we had. I had the snapper and shrimp with rice instead of polenta. It was excellent. My husband always has the butterfish. Several in our party had the chocolate soufflé for dessert, but I had guava sorbet since I’m also dairy free. We had a great meal, with great service.More infoRoy's Waikoloa Bar & GrillPrice: Expensive• Hawaiian Regional• Waikoloa•4.5
- EEllenvipSeattle / Eastern Washington •8 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThis restaurant was a one of a kind experience with the sake brew mistress also our chef for the evening. The ambiance, food and optional sake pairing menu really defined our meal as one of the most special I have ever experienced in Hawaii. This is a standout experience that really demonstrates the depth of the Hawaiian multicultural experience and the international standing Hawaii holds with our neighbors in the far east. All within the intimate setting of the restaurant above the sake brewery. The word special is an understatement.More infoEngawa by Islander Sake BreweryPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Kohala Coast•4.9
- JJennifervipSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoWe have patronized a bunch of the known popular venues and this is the best of all the big resort competitors. (Better than Bdown’s beach house, Meridia, CanoeHouse) Local chef, a local menu that is truly farm to table, and a wonderful atmosphere. We had a kabob with shrimp, steak and ahi with a beautiful presentation. We enjoyed two salads (beet was so good, it is easily enough to share) A lovely offering of sides, including a baked seasoned pumpkin which was delightful. Totally solid for kids, steak and mash was perfect and the pineapple and strawberry sorbet was a great finish. Chef/Owner came out and greeted us. We may go again tomorrow for their “happy hour, french dip”More infoFORCPrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• Kamuela•4.4
