When we were growing up, we shared a passion for simple, honest food. In 1996 Mike acted on this passion and opened the first Sammy J’s in Langley City. Steve joined later in 2010. After almost 20 years in the business our food and restaurants continue to evolve but our values remain the same: we’re just regular guys who believe in putting the heart and soul back into the restaurant business.     Such a great, warm and welcoming experience every time at Waterfront Restaurant. As other Kelowna locals have said in these comments, it is hard to find anywhere else for this kind of dining experience here. It is the epitome of this kind of locally sourced food which is perfectly and artistically executed by the chef team and presented by the incredible, knowledgeable and professional front-of-house team. Cannot wait for the next visit!

    We had the four course meal and enjoyed every bite! Appreciated all the little touches such as the mini cookies with candles (we were celebrating many milestones last evening) and the offer to take pictures by our server in front to the Christmas tree. Even though we were the last patrons of the night, we never once felt rushed. A great experience!

    Great service. Lamb was over cooked (asked for med. rare but was well done), but the dish was tasty. Tenderloin dish was also tasty. Appetizer options are pricey so stuck with mains only.
