Best Restaurants for Local Ingredients in Nyack

An amazing eatery with fabulous views of the Hudson in a town park setting. Food is delicious and the service was outstanding. Highly recommended for those wanting to enjoy some great food and scenery that will amaze you no Marge time of year!!

Vida was packed last night. 💃🏻 This is a brand new restaurant in Thornwood by the talented husband and wife duo at Augustine’s in Mamaroneck… Brianne Myers and Marc Taxiera. I love them as humans and am in awe of what they do as creatives/restauranteurs. I was worried about this newest endeavor only because their presence, in addition to incredible food, is such an integral part of Augustine’s success. How will they be able to nurture this baby as beautifully as their first? After visiting last night with a few friends, I no longer have any fears. Vida has been open a month and it felt like it had been operating successfully for years. I am neck deep in Christmas everything, but I am just so happy for Brianne and Marc, but also for Westchester. We needed some new “Vida” around these parts. Will def include comments under the photos. One more thing… omg the food. Oh and the glassware. and the patio that we will all enjoy in the Spring! ok… gotta go! So many gorgeous details. Great staff. Great food. Loved the big open front windows and the outdoor seating.

Everything about our dining experience was top notch. Especially enjoyed tempura and beet salad as appetizers and pork dish as main entree. Service was excellent, very attentive and generous. One of the best restaurants in Westchester.
