Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Altavista / San Angel / San Jerónimo

Spectacular. The best meal we have had in Mexico City. Fully deserving of it Michelin star. And, unusually for a michelin starred restaurant, insane value. It cost £160 for two people including a 20% tip. We had all the dishes, plus a bottle of wine and two further glasses. As others have noted, Mercedes our waitress was a consummate professional, utterly charming, and, along with her colleagues, a great guide through the various dishes. This is fine Mexican cuisine at its finest. Hard to get a booking, but worth working your schedule around their availability. Would give six stars if I could.

Every aspect of the meal was outstanding. We felt pampered by the service staff; every need anticipated and taken care of. The food was remarkable, sublime. Will be back

Every time we come here we love it it’s a amazing experience

Wonderful bodega. We tried the persimmon salad, beef satay, cheesy udon noodles (vege version as I don’t care for shrimp), and catch of the day which was seabass. The chocolate pistachio tart for dessert. They didn’t have very many red wines by the glass on offer, which seemed a little strange for a wine bar, but the bottle list was more robust and the waitress helped us choose a very nice and well priced Mexican Tinto that we loved. All the food was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. The seats at the bar are a little tight but the open kitchen concept there is charming. Very impressed overall!

Amazing tasting menu created with ingredients from the restaurants own garden. The service was fantastic, very attentive without hovering over you. Definitely would recommend to anyone coming to CDMX!
